The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) National Coordinator, Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah, has passed on.
She was the late Major Courage E.K. Quashigah, a former Minister of Agriculture and Health in the Kufuor ministry.
She was 63 years old at the time.
Mrs Gertrude Quashigah had been appointed as the substantive national coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) form the year 2020.
In addition to being a respected figure in the hospitality industry, Mrs. Quashigah—who held the position of CEO of Ambar Quality Foods Limited—made a significant impact on Ghana’s food industry.
She shared her opinions on a variety of media channels, and her abilities and enthusiasm were widely acknowledged.

She was born in Dzelukope, Keta, Volta Region, on February 1, 1960.
After completing her studies at Keta Secondary Senior High School, she pursued further study in her area of interest.
The Ghana School Feeding Programme, under the direction of Mrs. Quashigah, achieved great strides in guaranteeing that pupils had access to wholesome meals.
