President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo expects the country’s inflation rate to fall by the end of this year, 2023.
Ghana’s current inflation rate as of September 2023 is 38.1%.
The president claims that efforts are being made by the administration to lower inflation and reinvigorate the economy.
The remarks were given by President Akufo-Addo at a meeting held at Jubilee House with the Christian Council of Ghana.
“The signs are becoming clearer and clearer, the very high rate of inflation that we suffered last year is coming down. By the end of this year, we will be looking at 26.7 percent.”

“By the end of next year, we will bring it down to 15. We have to go down to the single digits,” he stated.
During the event, President Akufo-Addo also asked for prayers for the nation’s recovery.
