Ekow Ewusi Foundation has donated sewing machines and hair dryers to some hairdressers and seamstresses at Abura Nkwantado/Asim electoral area in the Cape Coast North constituency.
The sewing machines and the hair dryers numbering 10 each were given to young women who have completed their training and needed these respective setups to start their businesses.
Ekow Ewusi Foundation, is an NGO founded by Mr Horace Ewusi, the immediate past 1st Vice-Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region and a parliamentary aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Cape Coast North Constituency.
The foundation has the goal of helping the less privileged in the society especially those found in the Cape Coast North constituency in the central region.
The Cape Coast North constituency chairman, Mr. Kodwo Arhin who donated the items on behalf of Mr. Horace Ewusi on Sunday, June 18 to the beneficiaries indicated that the foundation finds it warming to see the beneficiaries elated through their benevolence.
He said it is their hope that the beneficiaries will use the donated items for their intended purposes to ensure the smooth start-up of their business.
Mr. Kodwo Arhin further urged the young women to ensure good maintenance is applied to the items received to sustain their start-up business.
