The newly elected members of the executive council of the Central Regional Football Association (CRFA) led by its chairman, Mr. Robert Otieku Duncan have paid a courtesy call on the Central Regional Minister, Mr. Kwamena Duncan.
The meeting which offered the CRFA Exco members an opportunity to introduce themselves to the regional Minister also discussed a host of issues including how best the two entities could work together to promote football in the region, especially in areas like juvenile, district and women’s football.
The Regional Minister congratulated the CRFA Exco on their appointment and advised them not to disappoint the people who reposed their trust in them. He also urged them to bring novelty and innovation in all their activities with the practice of fairness and integrity to change the fortunes of Central Region football. Similarly, he assured them of his support in all their endeavours.

” I pledge that the region, including all the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assembly will support you to bring back football to the highest pedestal in the Region” he opined.
Hon Kwamena Duncan tasked the RFA to bring proposals relative to areas they may need assistance from his outfit.

The RFA capo expressed gratitude to the regional minister for his warm reception and promised to work effectively and efficiently with his team to promote the game in the region.
