With the release of his most recent album, Timeless, Nigerian Afrobeats artist Davido has broken an Apple Music record.
According to a tweet from the music streaming service, it had the most first-day streams of any African album ever.
The 17-track album, which is the musician’s fourth, was released on March 31.

The album has already surpassed records for the largest first-week launch week on Boomplay and Spotify Nigeria.
