Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), provided situational updates on the Covid-19 pandemic.
This occurred several weeks after the Easter holiday, which saw a greater turnout of people at event centers across the country.
Ghana had 161,157 confirmed cases of the coronavirus as of Thursday, April 21, with 1,445 deaths.

According to Ghana Health Service data, there are 43 active cases, with a total of 159,669 recoveries and discharges.
