Voichestra Ghana in collaboration with ATLFM has marked its fifth anniversary in a grand style with a concert dubbed Our Endless Praise to thank the Lord for its journey so far.
Voichestra Ghana, based in Cape Coast and established in the year 2016, is an interdenominational choral group formed to help evangelize the word of God through music to Ghanaians and the world at large.
In an interview with ATLFMNEWS on the sidelines during the event, the chairperson for the event who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Ahantaman Rural Bank, Mr. Benjamin Afful Eshun lauded the group for their splendid work over the years.
Stressing on the importance of private choral groups in the country, he explained that good music is food to the soul
“Music we say is the food for the soul because man is a spiritual being and therefore, we need to feed the soul. And with so much noise around these days, when you have such programs, that is the time that you are able to reminisce over the nature of your creature and that brings you down to get the connection with your roots” Mr. Eshun explained.
The General Manager of the Campus Broadcasting Services Centre, Mr. Kwabena Antwi- Konadu also appealed to the general public to help provide the choir with the needed support to ensure their sustenance.
He seized the opportunity as a patron of the choir to appeal to corporate Ghana, individuals, lovers of pure choral music, and classical music to be of great support to them.
This he notes will help the young choristers to use their talent in the ministry of the Word to the world.
