Scores of Twitter users have attributed the comments of ace journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah as a reply to an “ethical principle” comment made by a lecturer at the University of Ghana, Dr Kobby Mensah who allegedly condemned Nana Aba Anamoah, Bridget Otoo and Serwaa Amihere who served as a panel on a reality show, The Next TV Show audition.
A comment from the lecturer, that admonished the ladies to resort to “ethical principles” to solve the issue rather than bullying the young man didn’t amuse Nana Aba Anamoah who threw a hard jab at the senior lecturer for making that statement.
In the endless thread of tweets, Dr Kobby Mensah earlier indicated that he tried to restrain himself from commenting, but felt the media personalities should have resorted to ethical principles.
“King Kaf, I tried to restrain from commenting but I think I should just for public education… In my opinion, and I am sure from many, I think @Bridget Otoo and Nana Aba should have resorted to ethical principles” he tweeted under a thread of ace broadcast journalist, Kafui Dey.
However, Nana Aba Anamoah showed her displeasure at the comment and threw a jab under the thread of Dr Mensah, intimating that when he gets cyber bullied to the point of getting suicidal he should come back for a conversation on “ethical principles”. She thus added that the distinguished academic is a hypocrite.

“Sit there and talk ethical principles. When people have bullied you till you become suicidal then you can come back to have this conversation with us” she replied in a tweet.
Dr Kobby Mensah did not reply to fuel any feud on social media, but rather stated his stance respectfully without attacking the personality of the ace broadcaster, adding that he completely understands.
“I can appreciate Nana, and I am in no way speaking for the young man. I only feel the public must be educated in public discourse, and in my capacity, that’s what I try to do most of the time – using the opportunity educate” he tweeted in reply.
