The Ghana Education Service has announced that the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will commence on Monday, November 15, 2021, and end on Friday, November 19, 2021.
A total of 571,894 candidates will from Monday 15th November sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) at the 2,158 designated examination centers across the country.
In a press release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Cassandra Twum Ampofo, the education service advised the candidates to desist from any form of examination malpractices.
The GES noted that its outfit together with WAEC, and the security services are working jointly to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations at all the centers across the country and urged supervisors and invigilators to ensure strict adherence to the Covid protocols at centers.
It also indicated that the school selection phase of the 2021 BECE will commence after candidates have completed their examinations.
“Parents, candidates, and the General Public are informed that the school selection will commence after the BECE. Details of the selection will be communicated in due course” the release stated.
