Former Ghana Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah has backed the newly appointed Coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum to succeed at Asante Kotoko.
The former captain, and gaffer of the Porcupine Warriors, is of a strong conviction that the academician has a lot under his sleeve to make the club glow.
‘He is very intelligent, humble, hardworking, and competent on the job so I strongly believe he can help the club back to it glorious days” he said.

Speaking in an interview with ATL FM, the former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah said: “a lecturer who has practiced what he teaches and believes in good football is all that Kotoko needed and I know he can make the club flourish”.
Coach Kwesi Appiah added, ‘We need to give him enough time and exercise patience and he will deliver “
Further, he called on the Board, Management, Old players, former Management Members, and Supporters to unite and give the coach the needed maximum support as he starts this new adventure.
