The Black Stars have been rewarded an amount of US$5000 each for their victory against Ethiopia last Friday in the World Cup qualifications.
Ghana pipped the Walia Ibex 1-0 in the opening game of the qualifying series at the Cape Coast stadium.
Mubarak Wakaso got the only goal of the match when his long drive from outside the box in the 35th minute beat goalkeeper Teklemariyam Shanko.

On Monday, the Black Stars suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to South Africa in the second qualifying match at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg.
Despite Monday’s loss to the Bafana Bafana, the Stars will receive US$5000 each for winning one of the two matches.
Ghana are now tied on points with Ethiopia, three points and are behind South Africa who currently lead the standings with four points.
The Black Stars will face Zimbabwe in a doubleheader in the next round of matches in October in Kumasi and in Harare respectively.
