MDS-Lancet Ghana Ltd presents a fully furnished resident doctor’s room to CCTH

MDS-Lancet Laboratory Ghana Limited has presented a fully furnished resident doctor’s room worth GHC40, 000.00 to the internal medicine department of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

The donation forms part of MDS-Lancet laboratory’s annual corporate social responsibilities.

In a short ceremony to hand over the room, which is located in the male medical ward, the Chief Executive of the Company, Dr. Paul Sekyere-Nyantakyi said the donation is to offer the doctors a comfortable resting room after a laborious period.

According to him, enough resting rejuvenates the body and this will allow the doctors to continue their medical care to patients.

“You have to be a health care professional to understand the challenges especially in this environment and we are to you grateful to you what you do to making sure within the limited resources, you still always give your best”.  

The Deputy Director of Nursing Services, Mrs. Irene Jacobs was grateful to the company for the donation which she said would help the doctors provide better care for the patients.
