The Head of Gyasi who is also currently the Supi of Intsin in the Oguaa Traditional Area, Nana Kofi Ahobow has called on the public especially residents of Cape Coast to disregard a document circulating on social media which is said to be the judgement of the Supreme court directing that the name of the Oguaa paramount chief, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II should be removed from the register of the National house of Chiefs.
According to him, the document is fake and thus should not be given any attention.
“I have sited a document circulating on Facebook, purporting to have been the judgement of the Supreme Court directing the court to remove Osabarima Kwesi Atta’s name from the register of House of Chiefs.”
“That document on the internet is fake because, it is purported to have been from the Supreme Court and on the paper, it is from the High Court of Cape Coast. It is claimed to have been issued in 2021 and yet the date of judgment which they are claiming is July 8, 2015. The whole document is fake, forgery and calculated to create mischief and disorder and therefore should be ignored.”
Nana Kofi Ahobow made this statement at a meeting with the media in Cape Coast at the weekend.
