The Dsane family of Cape Coast has donated 100 bedsheets, 100 pillow covers, and 100 table cloths to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital (CCTH).
The items are intended to assist the hospital in managing patient admission, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The gift was made in remembrance of their Grandmother, Madam Rachael Adwowa Kuuma Pobee, according to Mr Paul Dsane, who delivered the objects on behalf of the family.
It was also part of the family’s attempts to help the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital offer better care to its patients.
“We are delighted to work with the CCTH to contribute to its development and ensure quality health care for all,” Mr Dsane said of the family’s support for the hospital.
Dr Kwasi Agyan-Mensah, Head of Department of Surgical Sub-BMC, accepted the products on behalf of the hospital and thanked the family for their generosity, assuring them that the items will be put to good use.

He said that the products would benefit both the hospital and the people who used its facilities.
He urged people, corporations, and organisations to contribute more to the hospital’s operations and programs.
