Ace Ghanaian Actor , Brew Riverson Jnr has said talent alone is not enough to succeed as an actor.
The versatile actor who was a hot cake in the 90s wants budding actors not to be content with themselves but be ambitious and work hard to develop their talent into a skill .
“Beyond talent is studying, beyond talent is hardwork . You may have been gifted but if it stays at the gift level you don’t grow, so you’ve got to grow that talent into a skill, but If it stays at the talent level that’s it… If you are talented you must grow the talent into a skill and then it becomes attractive, that’s my advice to everybody” he noted
Sharing his thought on what makes a great actor on Tv3’s Weekend Entertainment Show; ‘Simply Showbiz’ with Chrystal Kwame-Aryee, the experienced actor underscored the need for young actors to improve on themselves, learn and keep polishing up till their thirst for success is satisfied.
“You may be naturally gifted but you need to sharpen it , from there you grow, you never stop”
“ You don’t get content with yourself especially when you begin to get fame and attention a lot of people tend to get stuck there. So at that level improve yourself, if you can read , read , if you have to observe people who are better than you, Observe them “ Brew Riverson Jnr adviced.
