Officials said on Thursday, 18th March, 2021 that an Afghan military helicopter crashed in the central Afghanistan Wardak province, killing all nine people onboard.
The Mi-17 helicopter crashed in Hesa-e Awal Behsud area of central Afghanistan , according to an Afghan Ministry of Defense official, killing four crew members and five security personnel.
The announcement stated that an investigation was ongoing.
The helicopter was on its way to rescue a wounded soldier from the hotly disputed province when the incident occurred, according to local authorities.
According to Kabul police, four people were killed and nine others were injured in an explosion that struck a minibus in the capital.
According to Kabul police chief spokesman Ferdous Faramarz, the vehicle belonged to the Ministry of Telecommunication and was also carrying staff from other government agencies.

So far, no one has taken responsibility for the crash.
The events occurred as a high-profile meeting in Moscow aimed at seeking a diplomatic solution to Afghanistan’s long-running war was due to take place on Thursday.
The Taliban rebel group and an official delegate from Kabul are both scheduled to attend the conference in Moscow.
Peace talks between the Taliban and officials from the Afghan government, which began in September in Qatar, have failed in recent months, with no tangible progress.
