The Deputy Central Regional Minister, Mr. Thomas Agyei Baffoe is calling on Ghanaians to see the fight against COVID19 as a collective responsibility to help reduce spread.
Mr. Agyei Baffour made the call when he presented 15 HP Desktop Computers and accessories, 10 Scanners, 5 pieces Laptops, 15 UPS and 5 Motorcycles to the Central Regional Secretariat of the National Service Scheme for onward distribution to selected Districts of the region.
“The covid-19 fight is not the President’s fight alone, it is not the Vice President’s fight alone, it is not the government’s fight alone. Covid 19 is with us and so all of us, especially to you the national service personnel, help us fight it. Ours is to educate the public about the existence of covid-19” he noted.
Mr. Agyei Baffoe appealed to the beneficiary districts to put the items to good use by observing a culture of maintenance.
Central Regional Director of the Scheme (NSS) Rev. Kwame Adjei receiving the item was certain they would serve the scheme a great purpose.
“The hustling and the bustling associated with hosting registration is no more because everything has become digitized and to further boost our activities. These machines have been given to support our work at the districts level. We thank management and as we receive these gadgets, our work will be made better” he expressed his appreciation.
