The National Lottery Authority (NLA) will begin making instant payouts to ‘small amount’ winners after its live drawings on March 8, 2022.
This is part of the Authority’s attempts to improve the playing experience for its customers while also shortening the time it takes to receive winnings.
According to a statement, anyone with payments of $1,200 or less can redeem their cash quickly following a draw by using the USSD number 3891000#.
To quicken the processing of winnings, the NLA will establish Prize Payment Centers at its Head Office and all of its Regional and District Offices nationwide by the end of March.
Between December 2021 and March 2022, the Authority additionally paid out outstanding prizes totaling $10.5 million, with the goal of clearing all arrears by March 30th, 2022.
