At GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, Ghana was defeated 4-0 by the United States of America in an international friendly.

In Nashville, the Black Stars, who were looking to avenge their earlier Saturday loss to Mexico, gave up four goals in the first half.

In the tenth minute, Gio Reyna scored the first goal off a rebound after Nicholas Opoku made a poor clearance.

After being fouled in the box, Captain Christian Pulisic scored the second goal from the spot in the 19th minute. Folarin Balogun then finished with perfection, and Gio Reyna’s chip sealed the victory for the United States.

In an attempt to rally, Ghana made a few adjustments in the second half, but it was insufficient as the United States won.
