Casely Hayford Hall, the male hall of the University of Cape Coast, clinched the coveted title of the 2024 Ghana Football Awards’ Special Fans of the Year.
This recognition follows their unwavering support for the Ghana U20 female team, the Black Princesses, during the African Games held in Cape Coast. Throughout the tournament, hosted in Cape Coast, the students of Caseley Hayford Hall stood as steadfast pillars of encouragement for the Black Princesses at every game hosted at the Cape Coast Stadium.

In the final match, the chants of the “Super Powers,” proved pivotal in bolstering the team’s morale when facing a challenging moment against Nigeria. Ghana eventually emerged victorious, and in a gesture of gratitude, the Black Princesses visited Caseley Hayford Hall after the game to express their appreciation for the unyielding support they received from the students.
