Ghana’s Abeiku Jackson on Tuesday morning won his second medal at the ongoing 2023 African Games.
Jackson, with a time of 53.80 finished behind Egypt’s Abdallah Nasr and South Africa’s Jardon Eaton who recorded 53.29 and 53.45 respectively to bag Ghana’s second medal in swimming.
This achievement adds to his earlier silver win in the Men’s 50m Butterfly, bringing Ghana’s medal tally to five in the competition.

Jackson has participated in the 2016 Olympics, 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2020 Olympics.
He is currently being trained by Russian Pavel Kutashev after being trained by his father in the early part of his career.
