Popular Afrobeats musician Don K, who is located in Kasoa, has vowed to sue Charterhouse, the organization that organizes the Ghana Music Awards, if he is not included in the nominations this year.
Entries are now being accepted for the 25th iteration of the most esteemed music festival. Despite leaving his imprint on the Ghanaian music scene several years ago with his breakthrough track “Baba Adey Beg,” Don K has yet to garner a nomination.
Don K released “May3 Dada” in the year under review, which was produced by King Odyssey.
In an exclusive interview with Ghana Weekend, Don K threatened to sue Charterhouse if he failed to get nominated once more.

“You, see, I have worked tirelessly in the year under review… I don’t know why I am yet to earn a nomination at the GMA… This year, I have a great song…Check the quality of my song… I’m very optimistic about earning a nomination”
On what he would do should he fail to earn a nomination, the ‘’Baba Abeg” crooner said,” Seriously I would sue the organizers…I will sue CharterHouse..they dare not fail me this time”
Don K, real name Matthew Tenkorang, recently released a song called “Wonboo Dam Y3.” Produced by Willis Beatz, the song includes Benji, a phenomenal modern highlife performer.
