Alexander-Arnold was involved in a minor collision with another car after pylon, which was felled by Storm Babet, had made a country road near Knutsford in Cheshire impassable.
A spokesperson from the Cheshire Police told the press the details of the incident, confirming that no one involved was injured: “At 10.34am, we were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a black Range Rover and a BMW.
“An electricity pole had fallen into the road, causing the accident. Nobody was injured and everything was cleared by 1.05pm.”

Despite the crash, the 25-year-old was fit enough to play the full 90 minutes of the Merseyside derby on Saturday afternoon. Alexander-Arnold was a part of the Liverpool team which expectedly dispatched of their inner-city rivals Everton at Anfield, taking advantage of the Toffees being down to ten-men in order to secure a 2-0 win.
Both goals would come courtesy of the in-form Mohamed Salah in the final 15 minutes of the game – his 10th and 11th goal contributions of the season already – but Alexander-Arnold was also one of the standout performers in the game.
The right-back recovered possession an impressive 14 times during the game, and caused Everton’s backline considerable problems with his ability in the final third too.
