Renowned gospel musician, Patience Nyarko has alleged that some celebrities go for protests due to their parochial interests and the financial benefits they gain from some of the parties.
She bemoaned the economic challenges the country is facing which has led to some protests, but questioned the genuine interest of some the organizers and those who attend such protests.
Speaking in an interview on Property FM, as monitored by ATL FM the W’afom crooner described some of the injuries that occur at some of the protests as senseless, especially when others are enriching themselves.

“We are all here in Ghana when someone lost their sight through injury at protests and others had accidents which were quite senseless. When others are enriching themselves through protest and you join without knowing their intentions and after they give you just a sachet of water” she lamented.

She also indicated that some people also front these protests hence, it would be a very poor decision for anyone who attends these protests to go and get injured.
Patience Nyarko also mentioned that some celebrities are also paid by politicians to front or attend some of these protests.

Some people front these protests and so unknowingly if you attend and they spoil your eyes, you’d have wasted your eyes for nothing. Some celebrities go for protests due to their parochial interests and others also take money in order to attend these demonstrations”.
The artist known for her song “W’afom Kwan,” Patience Nyarko, has urged her fellow gospel musicians to prioritize spreading the message of God rather than emphasizing their stylish appearances.
She emphasized, as a gospel artist, your primary focus should be on promoting Christ, as that is your core message.
