One young military imposter has been arrested at Assin Breku, one of the polling stations in Assin North in the Central Region.
The young man who was dressed in full military regalia was spotted and apprehended by the police providing security at the ongoing by-election.
He was arrested and sent to the police station upon his entry into the arena where the election was taking place but failed to furnish the police who apprehended him with any convincing identity details.
The police officers whisked him into a pick-up truck and drove him off to aid in further investigations.
Unfortunately, the police have not yet disclosed any information concerning the incident.
Police has been heavily deployed at the various polling stations across all centers since the exercise commenced.
Meanwhile, the Minority leader of Parliament, Cassiel Ato Forson in addressing the media alleged that the New Patriotic Party has resorted to vote buying through money sharing.
According to him, he has spotted ten different homes where an amount of two-hundred Cedis is being shared to the constituents to vote for the NPP candidate, Charles Opoku.
