Kojo Bonsu, a failed flagbearer aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on party members to unite and work towards rescuing Ghana from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In addition, Bonsu has called on Dr. Kwabena Duffour, who withdrew from the flagbearership race on the eve of Saturday’s presidential and parliamentary primaries of the NDC to join forces with the party to wrestle power from the NPP.
Despite his unsuccessful bid to become the NDC flagbearer, Bonsu believes that former President John Mahama’s landslide victory is a clear indication that the NDC, in collaboration with millions of disappointed floating voters, is capable of causing change at the polls in December 2024.
Bonsu emphasized the need for all NDC members to unite and liberate Ghana from the modern-day imperialism and colonialism practiced under the current government.
He, therefore, urged party members to focus on the task ahead and not lose sight of the goal of winning the 2024 general elections.
“Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the electioneering process and the outcome of the election itself, we must now all join the rescue mission of liberating our mother Ghana from the modern-day imperialism and colonialism practiced in a benevolent democracy under this NPP government.
“What is ahead of us is far bigger than any spilled milk. We cannot afford to lose any single effort going into the 2024 general elections,” he continued.
Kojo Bonsu believes that the NDC, through a united and relentless pursuit of victory, will emerge invincible.
