Government has through the Ministry of Finance on March 13th, 2023 begun processes to settle payments on outstanding bonds.
The payment according to the Finance Ministry begins with coupon and principal payments on bonds that matured on 6th February 2023 and 13th February 2023.
In a statement, the Ministry said afore-listed bonds are expected to receive their payment “within the next the next 48 hours” of the release.
The ministry however says as the processes continue the payment of the subsequent maturities will be communicated.
