Former President John Dramani Mahama has assured Ghanaians of his readiness to work closely with them to build a better Ghana.
He said the NDC government when voted into power will so much engage the grassroots in decision-making so as not to repeat the mistakes of the ruling NPP government when it comes to nation-building.
“…I’ll engage as many of you in the public as possible and interface with various interest groups to tap into your views on how to fashion the Ghana we want” he emphasized.
He notes that the NDC party members must also prioritize the party’s interest adding that there’s no need to seek political power to repeat NPP’s mistakes.
“I have heard many of my colleagues and comrades say that our next NDC government must also exact this pound of flesh. I dare say that there is no use fighting for political power if it is only to come and repeat the same mistakes that the NPP has made.”
Former president John Mahama said this in his address when he launched his bid to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the polls in 2024.

He adds that Ghanaians must unite as one people with one destiny without thinking of their political, tribal, or religious differences in other to work together to build the country they want.
