Another win for Ghana, as Afro-fusion musician Gyakie has been named a part of the YouTube Black Voices Fund Music Class 2023, joining countries such as Jamaica, the United States, Nigeria, Australia, and Brazil.
The program’s goal is to provide direct financial help to Black innovators, artists, musicians, and producers in order to promote their YouTube content and provide a forum for them to communicate their thoughts and experiences.
Along with Gyakie, other African artists on the list include Nigeria’s Asake and BNXN, as well as South Africa’s Kamo Mphela and Mashbeatz.
