Medeama SC forward Prince Opoku Agyemang has confessed to choosing the Tarkwa based outfit over Ghana Premier League heavyweights Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko.
This new ‘Prince of Goals’ has taken the Ghana Premier League by storm, scoring 11 goals from 13 appearances before the campaign was halted due to coronavirus.
But before joining the Mauve and Yellows from New Edubiase, the 27-year old was linked with moves to Aduana and Kotoko, which he confirmed, but reveals he wanted a club that will afford him more playing time.
“Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars FC all came knocking but I chose Medeama”, the lanky forward told Truth Radio NY.
“I opted for Medeama SC because of playing time and I think I made the best choice,” he added.
The Black Stars B forward has been linked with a move to South African side Cape Town City FC, but the reports were watered down by the outbreak of COVID-19.
Agyemang played a key role in the Black Stars B second place finish at the WAFU Cup of Nations in Senegal last year.
