Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are racing to beat today’s deadline to sign Justice Blay and Richard Boadu respectively with their club Medeama only willing to sell just ONE of the two defensive midfielders on transfer deadline day, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The Tarkwa-based side will only release the first player an agreement is reached to sign him which means the two giants must rush forwards with their finals before that one player is sold.

While Kotoko are keen on taking their long-time target Blay, Hearts are battling to sign Boadu but so far the offers from the two clubs each player has not satisfied the demands of Medeama.
Medeama will only entertain the thought of selling just one of the two midfielders because transfering both players at the same time could massively affect the strength of their midfield for the remainder of the season.
The Mauve and Yellows are determined to do business with both clubs but will be dependent on negotiations.
Asante Kotoko are keen to sign long-term target and fans’ favourite Justice Blay to their ranks while Hearts of Oak have tabled an official bid for Richard Boadu.
Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu is keen to reunite with his former protégé in the capital after signaling his intention to sign him.
However, both Hearts and Kotoko must beat each other to sign their target or risk losing them.
The Mauve and Yellow are ready to cash in on the midfielder who has less than eight months remaining on his current contract.
Justice Blay has already made his intention known on playing for the Ghana Premier League giants as his contract nears its expiration.
The 28-year old has been outstanding for the Mauve and Yellow in the ongoing campaign, scoring three goals in 14 matches.
His impressive performance has earned him a call up to the Black Stars for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
