Quarter-Final Draw Details
The quarter-final draw will involve the four preliminary quarter-final winners and the four round-robin group winners. Teams will be divided into two pots, with Armagh, Monaghan, Tyrone, and Meath in one group and Dublin, Galway, Donegal, and Kerry in the other. One key rule of the draw is to avoid repeat pairings, especially those from the provincial finals and the opening round, whenever possible.
Rules Governing Matchups
To maintain competitive balance and avoid rematches, specific pairings are disallowed. Armagh cannot be drawn against Dublin, Galway, or Donegal. Similarly, Tyrone cannot face Donegal again, and Meath will not be matched with Kerry. Since Armagh has three potential repeat matchups, they are automatically paired with Kerry, eliminating the need for further consideration in that fixture.
Draw Supervision and Match Dates
The rest of the draw will be overseen by GAA President Jarlath Burns and Feargal McGill, the GAA’s Director of Player, Club, and Games Administration. The quarter-final matches are scheduled to take place at Croke Park during the weekend of June 28 and 29, promising an action-packed set of games for fans of Gaelic football.

Meanwhile, the All-Ireland Hurling Championship semi-finals have been locked in. On Saturday, July 5, Cork will face Dublin at 5pm in Croke Park. Then on Sunday, July 6, Kilkenny will take on Tipperary at 4pm, also at Croke Park. These matchups are set to add even more excitement to an already thrilling championship season.
