President John Dramani Mahama has appointed 18 individuals as Deputy Heads of Ghana’s Diplomatic Missions to serve across various countries around the world.
The appointments were announced in a statement dated September 11, 2025, and officially released on October 9, 2025. The statement, signed by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, conveyed the President’s goodwill to the appointees and directed that the necessary formalities be completed to facilitate their postings.
According to the Presidency, the move forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Ghana’s diplomatic representation and enhance international cooperation.
