Tottenham Star Talks About Injury Issues and Training

Tottenham Star Breaks Silence. Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro has shared his thoughts on the team’s injury problems. He called the situation “crazy” but said the training methods are not the issue. With only 13 players fit for their Europa League match against Hoffenheim, Porro wants everyone to stay united and push through tough times.

Injury Problems for Spurs

Tottenham’s injury list keeps getting longer, and Pape Sarr is the latest player out. Some key players, like Cristian Romero, are almost back. Still, the team’s struggles are putting pressure on manager Ange Postecoglou. Some people are questioning his training methods, but Porro defended the coach.

“It’s crazy when you have so many players hurt,” Porro said in an interview. “It’s hard for the team and club, but that’s football. We need to focus on getting better. The players will come back stronger.”

Training for Individual Needs

Porro explained that Tottenham’s training is set up to suit each player. “We have a plan for all our training,” he shared. “Players who aren’t playing as much have a specific plan to return, and I have my own routine too. I train at the club, but I also work on recovery at home.”

He said training sessions are flexible. Players coming back from injuries have lighter workouts, while regular players focus on recovery. “Everyone has their own schedule,” Porro added.

Staying Strong Together

Despite the issues, Porro praised the team’s spirit. “The coach and the team are united, and that’s important,” he said. “In tough times, we keep going—no excuses. This is football. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.”

Porro noted how tough it is when key defensive players are absent. “When all the defenders and goalies are out, it’s tough. I can’t believe I’m the oldest in defense at 25, but I give my all in every game.”

Postecoglou on Injury Issues

Manager Ange Postecoglou recognized the pressure from the busy schedule. Tottenham is still in four competitions this season. “You need a strong squad to compete well in Europe and cups,” he said. “Playing three games a week is hard for a small group.” Tottenham Star Breaks Silence.

Postecoglou said the club pays close attention to injuries and noted that recent problems come from playing so many games. “Early in the season, we noticed injury patterns and tried to fix them. But lately, it’s been about the number of matches.”

Busy Schedule Ahead

Tottenham has a tough schedule coming up, with five matches in two weeks, including a Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool. With a 1-0 lead, Postecoglou hopes for fewer injuries to help the team aim for the final and end their long wait for a trophy.

Despite everything, Porro and the team are focused on healing and staying united, ready to face this tough time together.
