The CAF Champions League quarterfinal hopes of Medeama SC were dashed on Saturday after Young Africans overcame CD Belouizdad in Tanzania.
After losing to Al Ahly twenty-four hours earlier, Yanga and Belouizdad may have drawn to keep the Ghanaian champions in the match.
In the last group stage match, Medeama will play in Algeria in the hopes of finishing third following an incredible CAF Champions League campaign.

In the meantime, Yahia Abass gave the home team the lead in the 43rd minute of a one-sided match at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, and Stephane Aziz Ki doubled the lead just one minute after the half.
Kennedy Musonda of Zambia increased the advantage after two minutes, and with six minutes left, Joseph Gnadou completed the triumph.
In the 77th minute, Augustine Okrah, a forward from Ghana, took Maxi Mpia Nzengeli’s place.
Al Ahly and Young Africans advance from the group as quarterfinalists after sharing first and second place, respectively.
