Armed robbers attacked premier League side Legon Cities on the Bibiani-Kumasi highway after their trip to Bibiani for the Ghana Premier League matchday 7 game against Samartex.
The team, after leaving Samraboi, were met by the armed robbers at Kwanfifi, a town on the Bibiani-Kumasi highway.

The incident happened at around 11pm.
The driver’s side of the team bus was smashed, and all possessions of the players and officials, including mobile phones and laptops were taken.
