Joseph Aidoo, a defender for the Black Stars, has been ruled out of the international friendly against the United States due to an injury he sustained during the game against Mexico.
The Celta Vigo center-back suffered an ankle injury just 25 minutes into the match at the Bank of America Stadium and had to be substituted with Alidu Seidu taking his place.

Aidoo will be heading back to Spain for further medical treatment. On the other hand, Abdul Fatawu Hamidu is set to join the Black Stars team in Nashville ahead of their match against the United States scheduled for Tuesday.
The Black Stars experienced a 2-0 defeat to Mexico on Sunday, with goals scored by Hirving Lozano and Uriel Antuna. The four-time African champions are aiming to conclude their American tour on a positive note when they face the US at the GEODIS Park.
These two friendly matches are crucial for preparing the team for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
