Chelsea’s boss Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that Chelsea are behind the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Tottenham but he believes the team can bounce back to its form with time.
“First of all, we need to recover all the players, we have many injured players, key players that can’t compete and train with us. And that is so important.
You can see how different a club like Manchester City, the effect when there is no Rodri “the brain”, and it is only one player. For us, we are missing many players, key players that can help to develop and improve the team faster.

Yes, when we recover all the players, yes for sure, we will be ready to compete with big teams. Even now we need to believe that we can compete with the big teams.”
“I think the team is doing really well. We don’t concede too many goals and we start to score goals. In the midfield area, they have started to connect and create a good link.
“Only with time and training can we provide the team with what it needs. It’s why it is only a matter of time, no doubt.”
“We need to be calm in the way we judge players and the team. I think we are growing and very good things are coming. You can feel that, even if sometimes we have some ups and downs. But, in the end, we will succeed together, for sure.”
“Yes, we are so happy with this project because it is one of the biggest challenges that we are going to have in our career for sure. And of course, it’s going to be good when we start to be in a position that the club deserve to be.”
