Isaac Mintah’s first-half strike made the difference at Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro. Bechem United 1 vs 2 Medeama SC

Medeama secured their first-ever win at Bechem United’s Nana Gyeabour Park with a remarkable 2-1 comeback victory. Substitute Ebenezer Nkrumah’s thunderbolt and Jonathan Sowah’s precise finish earned the champions maximum points. Cephas Kofi Mantey had initially opened the scoring for Bechem United. Heart of Lions 0 vs 0 Bofoakwa Tano

Heart of Lions’ quest for their first win this season continues as they played out a goalless draw against Bofoakwa Tano at the WAFA Arena. The match saw opportunities for both sides, with Lions dominating the first half but failing to capitalize. Bofoakwa’s goalkeeper, Kobi, made a crucial save to keep his team level. The stalemate ended with both teams sharing points, allowing Bofoakwa to maintain their top position in the league standings. Next, Lions face Hearts of Oak, while Bofoakwa Tano takes on Bibiani Gold Stars at Sunyani Coronation Park.

Nsoatreman FC 1 vs 0 FC Samartex

Nsoatreman FC pulled off a surprising victory against Samartex, securing a lone goal at the Nana Kromansan Park. The crucial goal came in the 34th minute, courtesy of Abdul Manaf Umar from the home side. The result left Samartex stunned and marked a notable win for Nsoatreman FC in a hard-fought contest. Umar’s goal proved to be the decisive moment that sealed the victory for the home team.

Nations FC 1 vs 1 Legon Cities

Nations FC fought back to secure a 1-1 draw against Legon Cities FC in the Ghana Premier League clash at the Dr.Kwame Kyei Sports Complex. Despite going behind early with a goal from Joseph Mereku in the 7th minute, Nations displayed resilience. Barimah Baah’s 54th-minute strike earned them a point. Nations’ goalkeeper change and Legon Cities’ adjustments to their squad didn’t deter the competitive encounter. Baah’s consistent scoring form showcased his importance to the newcomers.

Karela United 0 vs 0 Great Olympics

Karela United and Great Olympics played to a goalless draw at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, ending Karela’s hopes of securing two consecutive home wins. Despite Karela’s ambition, they couldn’t breach Great Olympics’ resilient defense. Annor Walker’s team left Tamale pleased with a hard-earned point, maintaining their unbeaten record for the season. Karela’s disappointment contrasts with their determination to make their stadium a fortress. Next, Karela faces new city rivals RTU, while Great Olympics hosts Accra Lions in the capital.

Bibiani Gold Stars 3 vs 0 Real Tamale United (RTU)

Bibiani Goldstars rebounded impressively from their recent loss to Great Olympics with a dominant performance against Real Tamale United at Dun’s Park. Ronald Frimpong’s 26th-minute goal set the tone, followed by McCarthy Appiah’s strike just 10 minutes later. Frimpong sealed the 3-0 win in the 78th minute. Real Tamale United struggled to respond and hopes for improvement in their next game against Karela United. Goldstars face the undefeated Bofoakwa Tano next.

Hearts of Oak 0 vs 0 Dreams FC

Hearts of Oak’s struggles in the Ghana Premier League continued as they played to a goalless draw against resilient Dreams FC. With just one win in their first four games, the Phobians are under pressure. Dreams FC, fresh from CAF Confederation Cup success, proved tough opponents. Both teams displayed strong defenses, marking their second consecutive draw at Accra Sports Stadium. Hearts of Oak face an uphill battle with just four points from 15, with the hope of getting a win in their next game to regroup and revive their season.

Accra Lions 0 vs 1 Asante Kotoko

Kalo Outtara emerged as Asante Kotoko’s late-game hero, securing their first win of the season with a dramatic winner against Accra Lions. The Porcupine Warriors dominated the match, with chances from Steven Mukwala and Richmond Lamptey. Accra Lions had their moments, including a penalty shout, but couldn’t find the net. Ultimately, Outtara’s header from a late corner sealed the victory for Kotoko.
