The Reggie Donkor Foundation as part of its commitment to its corporate social responsibilities has made a donation of food items and an unspecified amount of money to the New Life International Orphanage in Cape Coast.
Director of the foundation, Miss. Reggie Donkor during the donation stated that, as an orphan herself, she knows the struggles others go through and it has been her desire in helping orphans and those in need in society.
Speaking to ATL FM NEWS on the sidelines, she urged all and sundry to help her foundation which is a non-governmental organization to give back to society.
“This is not the first time and this won’t be the last time we are doing that. Like we say so as time goes on, any help, cash, used or new clothes, food items toiletries, anything that they can come and support, Reggie Donkor foundation with, to also come and donate to these kids. They should please stretch their hands and do that for us.” she said.
The manageress of the orphanage, Mrs. Carolyne Gazi expressed her appreciation to Reggie Donkor Foundation for the gesture.
She however appealed to corporate organizations stakeholders and benevolent individuals to continue to support the New Life International Orphanage.
Items presented to the orphanage included toiletries, bags of rice and cooking oil, soft drinks, Milo, bags of sachet water, clothing, sandals, sugar, tin tomatoes, and cartons of milk.
