Crib, Chalk, Chambers and Cross: Memories and Reflections-Ghana 1961 to 2021 is a book that summarizes the life experiences of its author, Prof. Philip Ebow Bondzie-Simpson.
The 466-page book, which raises a myriad of issues and captures the author’s personal life experiences which transcend national and global development, yesterday was reviewed by some academicians including two former pro-vice chancellors of UCC, Professors George Oduro and Dora Edu-Buandoh.
On the reason for the book, the author indicated that it will serve as motivation for the youth while underscoring some past and current critical issues in the country that need to be addressed.
Prof. Philip Ebow Bondzi-Simpson as part of recounting his leadership experiences urged politicians to eschew any form of interference concerning the appointment of leaders in academic institutions. He also called on Ghanaians to promote unity in all aspect of human life.
Prof. Philip Ebow Bondzie-Simpson, is a Professor of Law, Barrister and Solicitor and immediate past Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, (GIMPA).
He has over thirty years working experience in consulting and education. He was the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Law and Dean of the School of Business at the University of Cape Coast.
He was the Director of Legal Services and Investigations at the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ)and a Senior Lecturer at the Ghana School of Law.
