Black stars defender Rashid Sumaila has signed a one year contract with Oman’s club Saham Fc with an option to extend for another year.
Sumaila, who started his football career at Cape Coast mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs became a free agent in July after he left Kuwaiti side Qadsia SC.
The 28-years old in an interview with ATL FM’s head of sports Godwin Asante Fokuo mentions that he is grateful and happy to be back to active football even though the league starts next week.

The defender who spent six years of his career playing in South Africa, Kuwait, Qatar and Serbia has promised to bring his experience to bare to help win a trophy for Saham fc just as he did with his previous clubs.
The former Asante Kotoko defender hopes to make a return to the black stars after getting in shape with his current club, Saham fc.
