The Senior Staff Association Universities of Ghana (SSA-UoG) has disclosed that they will on Friday petition Parliament concerning the unfair treatment they are still enduring from the government.
It can be recalled that the Association in the past embarked on series of strike actions as a way to get the government to provide their members with better Conditions of Service.
During a press briefing by the Association on Tuesday, the National Chairman of the Association, Zakaria Mohammed indicated that although the government made an effort to manage their case; it yielded no results.
Speaking in an interview with ATLFMNEWS, he indicated that, “the Case Management System we are using has failed, so our next line of action is to petition the Parliament of Ghana to sit and look at it from a non-partisan perspective and to identify the illegalities and punish the culprits and give us the justice that will be fair.”
