Dalton and Downey Back for Cork’s Clash with Dublin Cork selects Declan Dalton and Rob Downey for today’s match as they prepare to take on Dublin in Saturday’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final. The Cork team, led by Pat Ryan, is making three changes to the side that edged past Limerick on penalties in the thrilling Munster final last month.

Key Players Sidelined Due to Injury Seamus Harnedy and Cormac O’Brien will not feature in this match because of injuries, with Harnedy dealing with a hamstring issue and O’Brien sidelined with a quad injury. These injuries have opened the door for other players to step up and fill the gap in the team as Cork aims to keep their momentum going.

Dalton and Downey Step In Declan Dalton, who missed the later stages of the Munster championship due to injury, is now set to replace Harnedy in the half-forward line. Meanwhile, Rob Downey will take the centre-back position, allowing Ciarán Joyce to move over to the wing-back spot, giving the team a solid structure at the back as they prepare for a tough game against Dublin.

Changes in the Full-Back Line In the full-back area, Niall O’Leary will replace experienced corner-back Damien Cahalane, who will start from the bench. This change adds energy to the defensive line while still keeping Cahalane available as a strong backup option if needed during the match.

Millerick and Impact Subs Ready to Contribute Ger Millerick has recovered from injury and is back in the match-day squad, providing additional depth. Tommy O’Connell, Conor Lehane, and Shane Kingston, who all made a notable impact when coming off the bench during the win at the TUS Gaelic Grounds, have been named among the substitutes once again, ready to add energy if called upon.

Full Cork Squad for the Semi-Final The starting team for Cork includes Patrick Collins, Niall O’Leary, Eoin Downey, Sean O’Donoghue, Ciarán Joyce, Rob Downey, Mark Coleman, Tim O’Mahony, Darragh Fitzgibbon, Diarmuid Healy, Shane Barrett, Declan Dalton, Patrick Horgan, Alan Connolly, and Brian Hayes. The substitutes are Brion Saunderson, Damien Cahalane, Ger Millerick, Tommy O’Connell, Ethan Twomey, Luke Meade, Brian Roche, Jack O’Connor, Shane Kingston, Robbie O’Flynn, and Conor Lehane, giving Cork a strong bench as they prepare to battle Dublin in this critical All-Ireland SHC semi-final.
