Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Jude Bellingham will undergo tests on his shoulder after an injury scare in Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
The Real Madrid midfielder fell awkwardly on his shoulder inside the opening ten minutes and, although he completed the full 90 minutes, appeared to show real discomfort.
Doctors bandaged his shoulder and hand to adjust the dressing repeatedly during the game, while Bellingham also seemed to be feeling the pain again after the full-time whistle.

Ancelotti was also quizzed on Madrid’s growing reliance on Bellingham’s goals. The England midfielder has netted over 40% of his team’s goals this season, with loanee striker Joselu the only other player to score more than twice in La Liga.
Vinicius Junior, who has been deployed in a central role this year despite being a natural winger, has struck just two goals, while Rodrygo, who has also been forced to make the same transition as Vinicius, has found the back of the net once in 12 games.
Pressed on what Spanish fans have dubbed ‘Bellinghamania’, Ancelotti said: “No, we have a lot of resources.
“We have created with [Federico] Valverde, Joselu, Rodrygo…we lacked a little success.”
Madrid will face Braga in the Champions League on Wednesday and, although fans are sweating over Bellingham’s fitness, Ancelotti is confident the midfielder will be fit and ready to play.
