Her colleague, James Gardiner, who talked on the subject, stated that he didn’t care what individuals did with their sexuality.

“I really don’t care what people do behind closed doors or who they get into bed with… That’s their thing,” he said.

The Proper Human Sexual Rights & Ghanaian Family Values Bill, often known as the Anti-Gay Bill, is being proposed by Ghana’s legislative body.

Before Parliament went into break on Friday, March 31, the Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee presented a report on the Bill.

The anti-gay bill, proposed as a Private Members’ Bill, is intended to criminalize specific actions of Ghana’s sexual minorities as well as anybody advocating or supporting LGBTQ+ events.
