Davido, the Nigerian singer, has verified rumors that he and his longtime girlfriend, Chef Chioma, are officially married.
David, who had taken a long sabbatical from the public eye and social media, announced his new album in March.
The ‘Blow My Mind’ singer claimed he was now a family man in an exclusive chat with content producer and actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori.
“Just being away, you know I have had a lot to think about definitely. Time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time and time to make music again,” he said.

He continued, “You know, I remade the album. Before I went on a break I actually had an album ready. I had a tour ready. You know we did the album. I travelled. It was crazy. I’m married. A lot of different things but yeah, we are ready now to get back on the road.
Davido and Chioma had been on and off since calling off their wedding during the Covid-19 outbreak until their reconciliation last year, a few months before the death of their son, Ifeanyi.
Last year, the Davido Music Worldwide boss hinted at the approaching wedding in a post by UK-based Nigerian preacher Tobi Adegboyega.
Supporters congratulated the pair and wished them marital bliss on social media.
