After a convincing victory against Sudan in their last match, Madagascar finished the group stage as the group’s top team.
On Monday night, the southern Africans took the lead with three goals in the opening period and went on to win the match without giving up a goal.
Just 13 minutes into the game, Olivier Tokinantenaina started the scoring before Solom Raza and Lalaina Rafanomezantsoa added goals to give Madagascar a larger advantage.

Madagascar defeated Ghana in their group opener and now has nine points after three games after receiving three points for Morocco’s absence from the competition.
The Black Galaxies also place second in their group as a consequence of the outcome, three points behind Madagascar and three points ahead of Sudan, who is eliminated from the competition after placing third in the group.
The following games in Groups D and E, respectively, will determine Ghana’s and Madagascar’s destiny in the campaign.
