Around 40 students from Krobea Asante Technical and Vocational School in Asokore, Ashanti Region, have been detained for causing property damage to the school.
On Sunday morning, the students went on a rampage to protest their predecessors’ bad final exam results.
Four government vehicles were vandalized, including a Mahindra and an Isuzu pickup truck, a Nissan Patrol, and a school bus.
The Senior House Mistress’ Toyota Vitz car was also damaged.
Another salon automobile owned by a teacher was also turned over by the students.

According to Luv News, the students also attacked the school’s store, causing the damage of food and other goods.
The students attempted but failed to break into some bungalows, causing damage to the structures. The police were called in to restore order on campus.
The school has now been closed down by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah.
Dr Annor Ankrah, the Ashanti Regional Director of Education, and the District Director of Education were present.
The school has also been inspected by the Sekyere East District Security Council.
