Shatta Wale, the “Dancehall King,” has reacted to Sarkodie’s most recent collaboration with the legendary Bob Marley.
He doesn’t understand the outcry on social media because, in his opinion, the partnership is nothing exceptional.
Shatta minimized the significance of Sarkodie appearing on a Bob Marley classic while mocking the project during a chat with Dj Reuben on Luv FM’s Drive Time.

He added “I don’t think it should be a problem. As we hear, Sarkodie has featured Bob Marley, it’s so beautiful, at least we have someone who has featured a ghost, we should praise him.”
On January 18, news of the B.E.T award-winning rappers collaboration with the late Bob Marley began to circulate on social media.
The “landlord” of Ghanaian music gave the classic song “Stir It Up” by Bob Marley and The Wailers a brand-new rendition.
The remix aims to strengthen connections between Africa and the Caribbean while also eloquently articulating the shared existential experience of the Black and African diaspora.
